Wordpress can be installed automatically if your host gives you cPanel facility. So before you book space with hosting company check that out. I use bluehost for all my websites and bluehost is just fantastic. It not only gives me cPanel but also Simple Scripts, a more advanced script for automatic installation of various PHP Projects. In this article I will give you a glimpse of installing wordpress using Fantastico De Luxe and Simple Scripts.
Navigate to you hosting company page and login to your account to access control panel. If you are on bluehost, find Software/Services tab and click on Simple Scripts.

In new window you will see List of Script that Simple Scripts offers.

Click on Wordpress icon or link and press Install Now button. In next screen you have to enter Domain Name, Installation directory and blog title; accept license agreement and Terms of service. Click on the complete button.

Installation process will start and you would see a progress bar.

One installation process is over you would be greeted for successfully installing wordpress. It would also generate User ID as admin and a random password. Click on the Admin URL, general format of this URL is http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin. This info also reaches you via email.


Login to your account change the password which was generated by Simple Scripts and there you are, your wordpress installation just took few seconds.
Simple Scripts keep track of all your installations and you can also uninstall wordpress from simple scripts page.
Like wise you can install, uninstall and update wordpress using fantastico. Click on the Fantastico De Luxe icon.
A new page will load, click on the wordpress link located in the left sidebar.
Next, click on the New Installation button.
Fill in the details in the form that are pretty straightforward. Click on the Install Wordpress button.
Fantastco will send you the login details, login to wordpress and start blogging.
