Welcome, Aniquito is education site of DP Animation Studios. Tutorials on Photoshop, 3DS Max, ZBrush and Maya are available and we have plan to add more tutorials on various packages like Adobe Premier, Combustion, After Effects, CoolSound EditPro, Final Cut Pro, shake and Fusion. It will take some time to upload stuff on said softwares but surely one day. For corel draw tutorials, please visit DP Animation Studios site.

CG Lighting

Lighting plays an important role in a scene. It controls the visibility and mood of your scene. Another important aspect of lighting is that you have to save render time, more lights you have in a scene, more time you need to render them; so place lights in the scene strategically.

Direct Sources of Light in Maya
In this tutorial we gonna talk about the Direct Sources of light available in Maya and later on we will cover point light in detail and how we can make point light glow using OpticalFX. We will also have a look on ambient light.

Spot Light in Maya
In this tutorial we will talk about spot light in Maya and also how we can use it to generate fog. Spot lights create a beam of light that gradually becomes wider, in a cone shape, like a flashlight or car headlight.

Mapping Images to Lights in Maya
Many light attribute can have an imaged mapped to them. In this tutorial we will talk about projecting an image on a object.
